Flying Heritage Museum to reopen with new owner at Paine Field

Walmart heir Steuart Walton bought the historic aircraft and artifacts. The museum is set to reopen within the year.

Kenmore Air to start daily flights from Paine Field to San Juans

Service begins July 14. Flights to Friday Harbor and Orcas Island airports take about 25 minutes.

Paul Allen’s Flying Heritage museum collection reportedly sold

The late billionaire’s museum at Paine Field in Everett has been closed for two years due to the pandemic.

‘Our place to grow’: Alaska to resume full service in Everett

In June, the airline will offer 18 daily round-trip flights from the Paine Field passenger terminal.

Alaska Airlines cancels dozens of flights as pilots picket

So far flights out of Paine Field in Everett have been unaffected. No picketing was seen there Friday.

Boeing buys 2 million gallons of aviation biofuel

Made in part from agricultural waste, the fuel will power Boeing test flights and airplane deliveries in Everett and elsewhere.

Alaska launches Boeing 737 service at Paine Field in Everett

Until now, the airline has employed smaller Embraer jets. It’s a sign of greater demand for travel to Phoenix and Las Vegas.

Hundreds gather for annual aerospace conference — without Boeing

FAA approval ends 5G flight cancellations at Paine Field

The agency gave the OK to the Embraer E175 “for low-visibility approaches” to the Everett airport.

More 5G-related cancellations as Paine Field fog persists

The FAA has not cleared certain planes to land in low visibility in Everett due to nearby 5G cellular towers.

5G-related airline cancellations arrive at Paine Field

One type of plane serving Everett is subject to restrictions due to feared cellular phone interference with navigation.

Alaska Airlines to add Boeing 737s to the Paine Field fleet

It’s a sign of the growing popularity of flying from Everett. So far, much smaller Embraer E175s have been the rule.

Hydrogen-powered aircraft company ZeroAvia coming to Everett

It adds to Snohomish County’s growing repertoire of firms focused on flight without petroleum.
